Welcome to my personal blog! Let me tell you a little about me, the journey, and the Vision I hold in mind.

A Glimpse of Light

I was born in Santa Monica, California and  raised in the beautiful diverse city of San Francisco. From an early age, I was exposed to it all: Food, Culture, Nature, and my favorite,  Play. It was through sports, that I experienced the peak state known as “the Zone”.

For the a little over a quarter of my life, I was hearing impaired and wore hearing aids. Communicating was difficult since I couldn’t hear well some of the time and couldn’t annunciate words properly. I relied tremendously on lip reading. I also suffered from intense allergies and sinus problems.

Despite these “handicaps”, I was “in my own world,” captivated and mesmerized by the surrounding beauty I was experiencing all around me but had no ‘context’ to which to understand it.

There are no “accidents”.

At the age of 15, a freak ice skating accident resulted in the loss of one kidney. When I awoke from surgery in the intensive care unit, I vowed to forever respect “my” body. During the recovery, I witnessed first hand, the healing miracle of the human body. This event left me in a heap… of questions – “Why did this happen to me?”, “Why am I here?”, “What is my purpose?”… I believed that everything happens for a “reason”, but I wanted to know what that reason was. This led me on a journey to find the answers.

Inquiry

Hungry for knowledge, I passionately and relentlessly sought out information, spending thousands of dollars on books, tapes, videos, seminars and schools on body, mind, and spirit-related topics. I studied pre-medicine only to drop out of college burnt out, but gained a scientific understanding.

The Connection

Later on, I completed massage school and visited Maui, where I experienced a connection to Spirit unlike I ever felt in any religious traditions. But this made me more confused. I was torn between living a life surfing in paradise, aspiring to become a professional hockey player, or doing the “responsible” thing – “going to school to get a good job”. An “inner voice”, for some crazy reason, told me to finish school.

The Forces of Nature

Before my last semester of university, I saw the aftermath of a typhoon while visiting Guam. Having been through a major earthquake in San Francisco in 1989, I intimately knew of the forces of nature and its resulting destruction. But I also saw the power of community as the people came together to rebuild the island. I also visited the Philippines and saw the poverty and the huge disparity between the rich and the poor. This broke my heart and gave me a greater appreciation for life and the inspiration to help others in need.

Perserverance

Finally, after three attempts at college, I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in fitness, nutrition, and health. By then, I had met and consulted with the top professionals in the fitness and sports industry, earned many professional certifications, created “Boot Camp for Kids”, and moved to Guam for “love”.

The Taste of Success and Surrendering to The Breakdown

On Guam, my massage, personal training/sports conditioning business, and children’s fitness program took off. Word of mouth spread so fast on the small island. I was featured on television, newspaper, and radio publications. But despite the success, I experienced back-to-back heartbreaks that led to a major breakdown and surrender…resulting in a shift in perspective of life as a whole.

Wholy Shift!

After 18 months on Guam, with an awakened knowing, I decided to pack my bags and go on the road to share the message of Wholy-ness, the Realization of Self without any religious dogma and indoctrinations. It has been one helluva miraculous adventure ever since! When I get to know you, I can share what I mean. ;)

I S.E.E.E! Vision

You see “my story” isn’t what so important to me, anymore. What truly matters is YOU!

I’ve learned a very valuable lesson during my rock-bottom time on Guam and that was to be in service to all who are ready to finally LIVE AGAIN! The Vision I keep in mind is I S.E.E.E! – I Serve through Education, Experience, and Example!

I am sharing with you what has literally transformed my life and has attracted numerous blessings, experiences, realizations, and most importantly, beautiful loving friendships. To me, that is True Success, not all the fleeting “stuff” I have achieved or gained. I know with all my heart that the real meaning of Success is like a Flower: The Most Powerful Expression of What You Have Become!

The Power of the Real School is NOW in our hands. We have access to incredible technologies that is truly bridging us together on this planet. We are becoming Global. Learning is happening at a unprecedented pace to the open minds. The “old” mentalities and systems no longer serves us as we evolve with Wisdom and Awareness for the Whole and the Freedom to live the lifestyle we were born here to live.
