21 Jan Rhythm & Flow

Getting out of Life’s ruts requires tapping into the Field of Stillness to activate, magnetize, and actualize your potential. The late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said it best, “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.”

When I reflect back on Life, all my successes were the result of taking that first Intentional step toward the G.O.G. – Goal of God (Call IT what you want, it really is ineffable). I had done all the manifestation techniques: vision board, visualization, wrote down and read my goals upon waking and before sleep, and etc. I even wrote a letter of goals to myself and posted it on the mirror with the envelope saying, “Do Not Open Until One Year From This Date.” Yes, these are wonderful tools for living the life of your dreams. However, whenever I accomplished or manifested any of the goals, the high of accomplishment was short-lived and fleeting. It never really brought permanent fulfillment, contentment, and happiness. There’s more to manifesting than just manifesting things!

I believed at that time I would have to climb the next highest mountain of achievement to find Shangri-La. I heard of millionaires never really being happy, even with all that money$$$. We all heard this…”If only I can make another $10,000,000, I’ll be happy.”

It wasn’t until I simplified my life and threw every belief out the window, including manifestation techniques, did Life provide me better than I could ask for. Nor was I ever disappointed for having a huge expectation and attachment for the result since. You see, the “ego” is where desires come from. It’s like writing a Christmas list to Santa Claus. You get all the toys you asked for and then a few days after Christmas, you’re already bored with all your gifts?!

What I did instead was Completely, Totally, and Absolutely surrender to the Goal of God figuring that Life would know a better life than I (my “ego”) could ask for. I would meditate twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. I would remain in that peaceful state as best I could throughout the day. Simply, I wouldn’t “do” my best, but I would BE – staying anchored in Awareness. Over “time”, I began to notice a Rhythm & Flow to Life. It was like running. You BE(gin) by taking “the first step in faith” and you never ever give up no matter the obstacle. You just keep the faith and keep putting one foot in front of the other. After awhile, you notice that your feet start running on their own, and you’re watching this in total awe almost like being out of the body, yet still grounded. The momentum of Spirit is running and dancing through you with Rhythm $ Flow. You become the Goal. The Runner’s High (the bliss rush of endorphins) and subtle energies cascade and flow through the body and mind.

The Snowball Effect of Success begins with a stagnant rock (you) with the right conditions moves you down a slippery slope (fear) and rolls you down building up speed and snow until you become the unstoppable Snowball of Contentment, Fulfillment, Happiness and Wholeness! The accomplished goals become the bonus cherries on top of the Sweet Success Sundae that You Already Are. :)

21 Jan The G-Field BreakThrough

Ever seen the movie, Groundhog Day, with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell? The movie does a superb job showing us the insanity of being ruled by our unconscious behaviors. We go through life on autopilot: waking up to an alarm clock, struggling to get out of bed, working 9-5, eating crap, and passing out in front of the tube. The week moves at a crawl, the weekend flies by, and you’re back to the same old life-draining routine…Over and over and OVER AGAIN. Life passes us by as an unconscious trance, never fully realizing what just happened until we are on the deathbed?!  Nobody really wants to live this way, yet it is the most common denominator of the human experience.

Many theories exist on why this happens but it all boils down to fear of the unknown. Only if we could see the unknown is where freedom lies, then we would no longer lead “quiet lives of desperation” and learn to stretch past that barrier of illusion into Whole and One-ness. However, most people when faced with the unknown, the habits of reacting to fear are so ingrained, it keeps them paralyzed like a deer in headlights.

Without getting too much into the science of neurophysiology, the human condition is literally controlled by habits. What are habits? From a scientific perspective, habits are the result of the same neural network in the brain firing the same pattern over and over and OVER AGAIN. See the connection from the above “Groundhog” example. Over time, these neurons become so reinforced from repetition that we believe that we are stuck. This is the stagnant area of the G-Field or the Gravity of the known – Comfortability and Familiarity. By deciding to do a new action consistently, the old habits start to lose their hold and weaken while simultaneously new empowering neural bridges become strong.

The breakthrough occurs when you realize it is not our fault that our brains are wired the way they are. Why? Because the brain has evolved out of survival from thousands of years and uses a old system when dealing with imminent danger. In these modern times, we do not have to run away from hungry dinosaurs! The built-in “Fight or Flight” brain survival mechanism literally takes control and moves us to save our lives. We become unconscious in the moment as Cortisol and Adrenaline hormones are released into the bloodstream in reaction to a potential life-threatening situation throwing us in motion through emotions. We instantly release highly concentrated stored sugar energy to surge during fight or flee. This energy source is not sustainable and over time of reacting to “stress”, the body breaks down.

So really, how often do we really have to utilize this outdated system of protection during these modern days? When you realize this, you begin to become free from the old programming and see the Light of the Real Self core programming that you already are…the Non-linear, Non-dual, Pure Infinite Potentiality.

To breakthrough the G-Field of the Known into the Zero-Gravity Space of Freedom, requires your Absolute and Total Conscious Attention whenever you feel the emotional feedback to PERCEIVED fear and taking JUST ONE baby step past the G-Field of Limitation or Deception. Without resistance, completely and absolutely feel what you are feeling without labeling it. Become fully immersed in it (accept and embrace “it”) and use what you are feeling as “rocket fuel” to power you past the gravitational pull of your old known self (little “me”). By the time you had fully embraced and burned through the emotions of the perceived fear, you’ll have expanded from release of neuro-opiates Serotonin, Endorphins, and other Bliss hormones and become the Effortless Zero-Gravity Clear Field of the Whole Self. The only side effect: The Manifestation of the Real Fearless YOU!

21 Jan PRESSURE ~ A Gateway Into Flow States

icetubPressure has been a fascinating concept to me, as a former competitive athlete, and now, a coach & student of Life. Experientially, I have been in miraculous situations that defied logic, including a few near-death and outer body experiences. I have been blessed with the effortless Zone States of Awareness (Flow) while playing sports and during emergency situations where I observed the proper response occurring of its own and in slow-mo. I had never been in war but had heard of similar accounts from those who had. After each of these experiences, I was always left in utter awe of what brings about these powerful timeless states and whether others have had these Opportunities of Knowingness. Many have and are coming forth with testimonies as it is no longer taboo.

Upon contemplation, pressure was always present before the Presence of the Essence would prevail with grace. How comfortable one feels in the “uncomfortable” is the paradox one is faced with when under pressure to recognize with strength or to fold with weakness.

Walk To The Edge Of The Known; Spread Your Wings To The Unknown.

In Physic, we know that certain external forces are present that can be measured but cannot be seen, like gravity, for instance. When we move at certain speeds, we can feel the gravitation pull (G-Force) or pressure against our body. Pressure can appear in many forms: altitude changes, temperature variations, fluid dynamics, and etc. The point being illustrated is that pressure is something external. It is a condition that is beyond our control similar to the weather patterns. How someone reacts to wet, windy, and rainy conditions is a choice. The same goes for stress or pressure in Life.

Circumstances in life are just like that. Sitting in traffic is sitting in traffic. Your reaction to the traffic is what creates the emotional heat of road rage. Another person could have been Joe Cool in the same opportunity. When seen from a different perspective or context, the event is what it is – nothing more, nothing less. Events have no power in and of themselves. It is your intrinsic attitude to what is that determines whether you react with force or respond with power. Nothing has control over you other than the one you give it.

In Life, the coolest person always succeeds. When you feel the pressure increase, turn down the heat. Be the I of the Storm and use the physical forces to generate movement, momentum, and creativity.
